Capote Dock is a receiving and warehouse tool that Capote Business Solutions runs for freight companies. The SFS Dock app for iPhone and iPad is the mobile version used by the staff of Straight Freight System LLC. This policy explains what the website and the app collect and why.
Who can use it
Accounts are created by each company's administrator for its own staff. There is no public sign-up, and the app is not meant for consumers or children.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, work email, role and the company you belong to.
- Work records: trailers and manifests you check in, shipment counts and conditions, warehouse zones, signatures on receiving reports, proofs of delivery, and a history of who did what and when.
- Photos: pictures of trailers, freight and paperwork you take in the app. The camera is only used when you take a photo or scan a label.
- Device details: a push notification token and a device name, so we can send you work alerts and you can sign out remote sessions.
- Security logs: sign-in times and IP addresses, used to protect accounts.
Face ID or Touch ID is handled by your device. We never receive your biometric data. We do not collect your location, contacts or health data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use it
Only to run the service for your company: recording what arrived, finding freight, sending receiving reports to carriers, answering shipment questions from your company's customers and alerting your team about urgent issues.
Who we share it with
Your company can see the records its staff create. Receiving reports go to the carriers your company chooses. A customer who enters a PRO number on your company's tracking page sees that shipment's status, and can download its proof of delivery only with the delivery ZIP code. The service is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the United States. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Photos and documents are kept for one year, then deleted. Other records are kept while your company uses the service, or until it asks us to delete them.
Your choices
You can sign out and remove your devices at any time. To see, correct or delete your personal data, ask your company administrator or write to us.
